The harsh cold and violent winds demanded efficient insulation for the upper body, that could be layered under waders and dungarees, without bulk. Our approach involved blocking the wind using WINDSTOPPER® technology from GORE-TEX LABS, while maximising heat retention and mobility thanks to the PrimaLoft® Gold insulation incorporating Cross Core™ technology in the torso and sleeves. This cutting-edge insulator offers a great weight/heat ratio, the aesthetics and performance of down, but provides optimal heat even when wet. A compression-resistant fleece was used on the lower torso to facilitate storage under waders or dungarees. This heating garment, combining a 100% wind break fabric with a down-like insulation, was our solution to keep you warm and allow you to move freely, while providing numerous overlay options.
Designed to be one of your most powerful weapons against end-of-season wind and cold, the Duck Oven retains significant heat while offering maximum freedom of movement when worn under waders or a dungaree. It offers a dual thermal advantage: The WINDSTOPPER® technology from GORE-TEX LABS protects you from icy gusts and the Primaloft® Gold insulation with Cross Core™ technology retains heat in the torso and sleeves. The lower third in compression-resistant fleece is streamlined to slip easily under waders or a dungaree.
