Perfect for experienced hikers as well as beginners! The men's Abisko Trekking 3L jacket is a 3-layer jacket designed for seasoned hikers. It is equipped with 4-way stretch for improved mobility and exceptional breathability. The jacket is equipped with a highly breathable membrane that makes it windproof and waterproof. It also has sealed seams and water-repellant zippers to protect you from rain and bad weather. This jacket is not only stylish and lightweight, it also has side ventilation zippers that can be opened to increase air circulation and provide cooling during high activity levels. The cuffs and the bottom of the jacket can be tightened with drawstrings and self-adhesive closures to prevent moisture and cold from penetrating. The edge of the hood is reinforced to protect from rain and can be adjusted with a drawstring. The jacket has strategically placed front pockets that will not hinder the straps of your backpack. The high-up pockets are also easily accessible when the backpack waist belt is in use. In addition, it has two chest pockets and an inside pocket, all equipped with zippers to safely store keys or the phone.
One of the notable features is the integrated RECCO® reflector, a rescue technology used by organized rescue teams to quickly locate people lost in the wilderness or buried in an avalanche. The reflector can be considered an antenna that accompanies you at all times, without a battery or activation. Rescue teams use a RECCO® detector that emits a signal. When this signal hits the reflector, it bounces back, allowing the position of the reflector to be located. With an integrated RECCO® reflector, you will feel safer during your outdoor activities.
