The Rainshield is a lightweight, packable waterproof coat. This product embraces the technology of our waterproof gowns and the lightweight properties of the Stowaway shirt. The result is a low-profile waterproof solution weighing 400g*.
The Rainshield was reworked in 2019. We have received many excellent feedback over the years from our military, police, and civilian customers. Although its main features have remained the same, many improvements have been made since its predecessor.
Pocket configuration has been reconsidered and simplified for easier use. Two side pockets, a chest pocket with waterproof zippers and garages minimize water infiltration. An internal storm flap offers an additional layer of protection in case of torrential rain and wind. We also improved the overall coat shape, including longer sleeves and better hood coverage.
