Based on the foundation of the Quest, this emblematic shoe is now available in a HIGH variant. When your operations take you to the roughest terrains, the QUEST 4D FORCES HIGH GTX EN provides you with the support and grip of a mountain shoe, while maintaining the flexibility needed to kneel down or sprint to get in position in difficult conditions.
This tactical shoe officially meets the test standards of ISO 20347:2012 and associated standards for anti-penetration, anti-static, and anti-slip properties (except coyote version). An anti-debris mesh combined with full grain leather creates a particularly robust and flexible non-reflective outer surface.
The GORE-TEX® membrane makes this shoe an ideal companion in all weather. The 3D rubber toe cap and rubber heel protect the foot from shocks and ensure great comfort in all terrains. The SensiFitTM system wraps the foot from the midsole to the traditional lacing system to provide a secure, precise, and almost custom fit.
The inner outer face of the shoe is reinforced by additional material to facilitate climbing and rappelling or smooth rope descent.
The most important characteristic of a multi-functional tactical shoe is, of course, the highly technical construction of the sole. In addition to the anti-penetration Enigma Zero HT2 insert and anti-static technology, Salomon has opted for a tried-and-tested combination with the Contagrip® MD sole for secure adhesion on mountainous terrain, the 4D chassis for walking stability, and the EnergyCell midsole for optimal cushioning and performance. Finally, the OrthoLite® insole ensures a comfortable fit and additional cushioning in the shoe, while the perforations in this insole promote a pleasant climate for the foot.
