The Forest Hunter Mid GTX Shoes are made of leather, yet weigh only 740 grams each. Slightly wider than average, they offer a mid-high shaft of 18 cm. They have been designed to be comfortably wide at the front of the foot, making them very comfortable, but also ideal in cold weather as they provide enough room to wiggle your toes, even with thick insulating socks.
The Forest Hunter Mid GTX shoes are equipped with an Advanced GORE-TEX MS waterproof membrane made of recycled materials. During its manufacturing, each of our membranes is tested in a pool to guarantee its waterproofness. Besides, 5% of the shoes we produce are put through a 30-minute centrifuge test to ensure the quality of their membrane is as high as possible.
These shoes combine a nubuck upper and semi-rigid quality Vibram® soles, ensuring good ground adhesion. They also have a shock-absorbing midsole, to remain comfortable even during long walks on very rough terrain. These very sturdy shoes are very flexible at the front of the foot and at the heel, making them very pleasant to wear. They are reinforced with a highly resistant material at the toes and heel, where we usually observe the most wear.
