The cold and violent winds demanded superior insulation for the upper body, to be integrated in multiple layers under waders and overalls, without creating bulk. Our approach was to block the wind with the WINDSTOPPER® technology from GORE-TEX LABS, while optimising heat retention and mobility through the PrimaLoft® Gold insulation with Cross Core™ technology in the torso and sleeves. This leading insulation provides an excellent weight/heat ratio, the aesthetics and performance of down, while providing optimal warmth even when wet. A compression-resistant fleece was used on the lower torso for easy storage under waders or overalls. This heating garment, combining a fabric 100% wind-breaking with insulation similar to down, was our solution to keep you warm and allow you to move freely, while offering numerous layering options.
Designed to be one of your most powerful weapons against late-season wind and cold, the Duck Oven retains significant warmth while offering maximum freedom of movement when worn under waders or overalls. It offers a double thermal advantage: WINDSTOPPER® technology from GORE-TEX LABS protects you from icy gusts and Primaloft® Gold insulation with Cross Core™ technology retains heat in the torso and sleeves. The lower third, in compression-resistant fleece, is contoured to slip easily under waders or overalls.
