Power Thread Large made of technical polymer with an extremely high tensile strength compared to its diameter. Up to ten times stronger than steel of the same diameter. It is suitable for assembling large streamers for which an almost indestructible thread is necessary for any type of operation, both for clamping materials and for the final knot. Thanks to its calibrated twist, the fibers stay well joined while remaining very flat and smooth, which allows for the creation of very uniform and non-bulging sub-bodies and heads. Available in black (colour that does not fade with use) and in natural white, which can easily be coloured with a permanent marker. Perfect for pike flies and big flies when strength must go hand in hand with the classic mounting properties of the thread for large streamers. As this polymer is very slippery, it is recommended to use it in conjunction with cyanoacrylate glue before the crucial steps of fly assembly. • Spool of 100 meters • 150 deniers • Breaking strength of 5.60 kg. • The use of a spool with a ceramic tip is recommended.
