In fishing, it's often the simplest things that make the difference. Our Kickers might just be a simple piece of bent rubber, but they are unrivalled at improving the hooking potential of many rigs. The incredible effectiveness of the bent-hook rig at the time of hooking the fish in the mouth is beyond dispute. That's why anglers have been using pieces of heat shrink for years to replicate its effect. Our Kickers will allow you to achieve this same tilting effect very easily, simply by threading them onto your hook's eye, without even having to steam them. They also prove perfect for spinner rigs.
The green or brown version is ideal for anglers who are looking to camouflage their rig as much as possible. However, in some waters, a simple brightly coloured piece of sheath placed on the hook is enough to attract fish. That's why multi-coloured red/white and yellow/pink versions, perfect to add a splash of colour to your hook, are also available. Kickers are made from sturdy rubber and come in three sizes to suit the hook used and stay perfectly in place on the eye: Small for sizes 10 and 12, Medium for sizes 6 and 8, and Large for sizes 2 and 4. When a fish is hooked, the Kicker straightens during the fight, then returns to its original shape to be ready for use again. Kickers are sold in packs of ten units.
