The Square Bill is a crank that has been specifically developed for fishing in shallow and cluttered waters. It is equipped with a small, sturdy body, as well as a short, square bib specifically designed for fishing in obstacles. Indeed, when the lure hits an obstacle like a submerged tree, the angles of its bib will send it in opposite directions, thus preventing the hooks from embedding themselves in a branch. This also gives it a far more erratic swim than the classic crankbaits, making it particularly interesting for focusing on specific spots.
