Thanks to the four flat sides of the lead, it is virtually impossible for the carp to roll this lead on the bottom. This means that the carp has to move the entire weights, allowing it to instantly feel the full weight. The compact shape, flat sides, and tapered form make the square pear inline the most efficient lead available today. If you are fishing in very hard waters or if you need to boost the effectiveness of your rod set up, the square pear inline is the only lead to use. The large flat surface creates as much grip as possible on the lake floor. This lets you fish on flats and marginal slopes, on top or on the sides of bars without fear that the set up will roll down. The improved grip also allows you to achieve a very tight line, ideal for distance or when you are fishing against obstacles. This lead is therefore perfect for bait fishing on the big foreign waters or in the river.
