Discreet and efficient, the 3M™ PELTOR™ LEP-200 hearing protectors enable long-distance communication, thanks to a communicating neckband that receives radio communications. Equipped with sound modulation technology and conforming to the EN 3521 standard, they also protect against high impulsive noises and amplify low sounds to allow voice-range conversation, as well as the noise of machines or alert signals.
Used constantly, they preserve hearing health, a protection only being effective if worn for the entire duration of exposure to noise.
Designed to improve safety and productivity in all environments where it is imperative to protect and communicate, such as in security, concert organisation, construction or industry sectors, the 3M™ PELTOR™ LEP-200 ear plugs ensure:
Optimised communication. The communicating neckband of the 3M™ PELTOR™ LEP-200 earplugs allows receiving radio communication, through the company's walkie-talkie system (not provided).
Effective protection. Equipped with microphones, the 3M™ PELTOR™ LEP-200 earplugs capture environmental noises with great precision to analyse them very quickly, before they reach the hearing. They amplify low sounds, while dangerous ones are attenuated. Stereo sound reproduction quickly allows the wearer to locate their source.
Intuitive use. The 3M™ PELTOR™ LEP-200 ear plugs are easily adjustable thanks to their ON/OFF button, allowing choice between 3 listening volumes as soon as they are switched on. Rechargeable, they ensure a battery life of up to 16 hours.
Comfortable fit. Lightweight and universal, the 3M™ PELTOR™ LEP-200 earplugs come with Ultrafit™ tips in 3 sizes (Small, Medium, Large), as well as soft foam Torque tips, to offer maximum comfort to users, while proposing different attenuation levels, from 32 to 36 db. A protective foam is also provided to reduce wind disturbances during outdoor work. The 3M™ PELTOR™ LEP-200 earplugs can be connected by a cord to avoid any risk of loss.
Good resistance to tough environments. The 3M™ PELTOR™ LEP-200 earplugs come with a storage box that is watertight and dust proof (IP 54 standard). This box is equipped with a battery compartment for 3 AA alkaline batteries and a USB port, allowing a full charge in 90 minutes. There is also a space for the cord and replacement plugs. During charging, steel clips hold the plugs and an LED light indicates the battery level.
