With its new ultra-robust SCS brake specially designed and tuned for extreme fishing, the THERMO offers a resistance of 0 to 20 pounds of brake with unequaled smoothness and consistency throughout the fight. No breakdown or premature wear due to overheating, the THERMO handles the extremes with ease, the brake effectively dissipates heat through its extra-large and fully sealed carbon discs. The 20 brake adjustments, easy to see, are located at the top of a large diameter wheel that is incredibly easy to grasp and adjust in the heat of the action, while 39 notches allow refining settings for any combination of line and thread.
The body and spool, very robust, are designed to withstand the rigours of boat fishing, where it is not uncommon to suffer shocks on the shelves.
