Seanox Ikejime Kit: The SEANOX IKEJIME kit includes a Tekagi (spike) and a circuit breaker (cable). It's the ideal tool for the practice of Ikejime by leisure anglers on most freshwater and saltwater fish such as bass, sea bream, pagre, pikeperch... of a size less than 1m.
What is IKEJIME?
It is an ancestral Japanese method of neutralising the nervous system of the live fish, before bleeding it. Ikejime testifies to a deep respect for the fish that one chooses to harvest. Ikejime reduces the suffering of the fish during slaughter and enhances the visual and taste quality of the fish's flesh.
