High-performance eyepiece designed for PENTAX spotting scopes.
Features : • Designed for use on Pentax PF-65 spotting scopes with which it offers a magnification of 20 × to 60 × • Its use is also recommended in association with astronomical telescopes equipped with a 1¼” (31.7 mm) focusing device • Resistant to splashes, JIS-4 waterproofing for daily use • Full multi-layer treatment Pentax SMC • High refractive and low dispersion lanthanum glass • Rubber eyecup designed to ensure the greatest comfort of observation • PENTAX XF eyepieces feature elements in high-refractive, low-dispersion lanthanum glass to produce high-resolution images with aberrations kept to a minimum. They are specifically adapted to observation and photography of planets. PENTAX's exclusive SMC multi-layer coating enhances light transmission and unmatched color quality. Its advanced design realized by computer simulation helps to reduce internal reflections and produce brighter and more contrasted images. Thanks to their JIS Class 4 weatherproof construction, the XF eyepieces are more durable and water resistant.
The PENTAX XF Zoom eyepiece offers a magnification of 20 to 60 times mounted on PENTAX PF 65 series telescopes, an apparent field of view of 42 to 60 degrees and an eye relief of 11mm to 15mm. It is designed for use on PENTAX spotting scopes and on astronomical telescopes equipped with 1¼” focusing devices.
Removable eyecup allowing the attachment of a 43 mm diameter adapter with a pitch of 0.75 mm
Compatible with PF-65, PF-65 ED II, PF-80, and PF-100 spotting scopes.
