Enhanced GPS system: the most reliable navigation system when it comes to fishing. The engine uses GPS to control your engine with unmatched features. Set Spot-Locks, record routes, control speed and direction,… Minn Kota makes boat positioning and control automatic, while taking commands from the engine's wireless remote control.
One-Boat Network: ready to use, Minn Kota engines come standard with all connection cables to connect to the Humminbird sonar units (compatible), unlocking more advanced navigation features without additional adapters or complicated setup procedures.
Stronger, more flexible carbon fiber shaft ensuring lifetime durability.
New WIRELESS wireless remote control: all engines come with the new wireless remote control compatible with the One-Boat Network application.
Drift mode: Today, anglers constantly struggle with environmental conditions in order to maintain a constant speed and course. Drift mode simultaneously uses the heading hold and speed control to manage boat control. Anglers no longer need floating anchors or other aids to control the movement of the boat.
Spot-Lock: Feature allowing to stabilise your vessel within a radius of 60 cm around a point memorised in the remote control (or in the handset). The engine is autonomous to compensate for the effects of wind, current, etc…
AutoPilot: Your GPS accuracy allows to keep the boat in a predetermined direction while correcting the drift effects linked to the current or wind.
Stow Deploy System: The raising/deploying system allows with a simple press on its handle to slide the Terrova into the water. The engine is easily lifted, the emergency stop switches off your engine.
The Riptide Terrova's secure stow and deployment method varies slightly between short shaft and long shaft engines.
Short shaft motors with a shaft length of 152.4 cm have only a depth adjustment collar, which is used to adjust the depth of the engine during deployment. When stowing the engine, the depth adjustment collar is placed against the steering box for secure stowage.
Long shaft motors with a shaft length of 182.9 cm, 221 cm or 254 cm are equipped with a stowage lock collar, a coiled cord slide and a depth adjustment collar. On long shaft motors, the depth adjustment collar works to keep the motor at the right depth when deployed.
The stowage lock collar is unlocked to allow the shaft to move freely during stowage and deployment. Once the engine is stowed, the stowage lock collar is locked for secure stowage. The stowage lock collar can also be locked to keep the engine at the appropriate depth when deployed in shallow water.

Corrosion protection: Engine specially prepared for use in a saline environment: enhanced protection of the motor block coating and encapsulation of electronic plates.
