The HICO 4" has a heavy elastic shell that allows for very good compression during application, even with one hand. No need to go through a clamp, just bandage the wound in an "X" by passing slightly above once, then slightly below once. This dynamic elastic has silicone stripes to ensure optimal hold including in difficult areas (head, shoulders). At the end of the band, as on all military dressings, you will find a high-strength plastic safety pin to attach the band. The sealed packaging is easily tearable with one hand or teeth (if one hand is available).
