The Yeti Link vehicle integration kit contains everything you'll need to charge your Yeti X battery (1000X and above) from your vehicle's alternator, whether you're on the road or parked. Simply set the Yeti Link to "car mode" and connect to begin gathering power as you go. Important information: requires installation by a qualified professional.
Off-Road? Rough terrain? No problem The upgraded new design of the Yeti Link vehicle integration kit comes with an in-built locking mechanism to provide a more secure and stable connection that won't come loose when conditions get tough. Take your adventure setup off-road and off-grid. We'll keep you connected.
Everything you need to connect and recharge The Yeti Link vehicle integration kit comes with everything you'll need to connect your Yeti X power station to your vehicle's alternator, including a male EC8 to Ring Terminal and a 3.65 metre EC8 extension cable with added fuse protection.
Build your portable power system Pair the Yeti Link vehicle integration kit with Goal Zero Boulder solar panels to create a personalised portable power system that can recharge your Yeti X power station both on the road and off-grid.
NOTE: The Yeti Link must be in vehicle mode to use this feature or it will drain your vehicle’s battery. All Link modules come standard in “tank mode”. Tank mode allows you to connect a Yeti Tank Expansion Battery to a Yeti Lithium Portable Power Station to increase your energy storage capacity.
The male EC8 to ring cable allows you to directly connect to your vehicle's 12V battery or to the +/- terminals on the alternator. The EC8 extension cable connects to the back of your Yeti Link. The Yeti Link’s locking mechanism secures the cables to the Link firmly.
When in “vehicle mode”, the Yeti Link draws power from your vehicle’s alternator while the vehicle is running and stops drawing power when the vehicle is turned off. While you’re at camp, connect your Yeti to our Boulder or Nomad solar panels to gather and store power at each stage of your journey. When your power source is portable and sustainable, the possibilities are endless.
