These newcomers to our range of fishing rods were created with a sense of nostalgia, reviving the looks, actions, and styles of the early days... but with cutting-edge modern materials and accessories. The actions of these rods have been dramatically tuned, offering a smooth, deep action to help you absorb the powerful rushes of wild carp battling fiercely, while having enough reserve to confidently confront them when needed — the memories are already creeping back to you... Old Skool rods are made from tapered, high modulus carbon blanks with an anti-reflective finish. They are also equipped with stylish gun smoke aluminum reel seats, which beautifully contrast with the solid cork, laser engraved collars, and sleeves along the handle. They are finished with robust and lightweight MM series rings and anti-frap tip rings... but in the tradition, style, and layout of the old school.
