The Lazer Trokar range was introduced by the company in 2009, and was presented as the world's first hooks created with the Surgically Sharpened Technology concept. These patents rely on the same technology as some medical supplies(the height of innovation !). At first glance you will notice that the triangle-shaped point leaves nothing to chance when it comes time for the hook to penetrate on the strike. Tests have shown that depending on the hooks studied it required a weight between 140 and 100 grams for a point to penetrate a given material, whereas it only takes 60 grams for the point of a Tro Kar hook to penetrate.

You can immediately see the practical application for carp fishing, using either a lighter lead weight, or by keeping the same weighting but with a greater penetrating force.
