Designing a high-end line of rods that cater to modern feeder fishing techniques is never an easy task. It took more than 2 years to develop the Supera X series, but the finished product is simply exceptional!
We've lost count of the number of samples that were tested by Des Shipp & Lee Kerry before we finally settled on the final design. We now believe that this line of rods is simply the best we've ever produced.
A key element of the Supera X range is its X wrap carbon weave. This super durable weave reduces the overall diameter of the blank while providing amazing fishing and casting action, a feat of engineering that is simply amazing.
Minimalist rings are also present on all models, reducing weight and adding extra distance to each cast thanks to a wider diameter.
Like all our high-end rods, the Supera X are fitted with flat EVA/cork handles, with the embossed Supera X logo on the fabric. A high-end rod set unlike anything else available on the market!
9ft Supera X Feeder A superb rod designed for short, precise casts often found in commercial fisheries. A progressive, smooth action blends seamlessly with the blank, ideal for fighting fiercely fighting fish and for preventing dislodging. Delivered with three carbon tips of 1, 1.5 and 2 oz.
10ft Supera X Feeder A progressive parabolic action makes the 10ft model ideal for handling all sizes of fish, especially when they are under the rod tip. Ideally suited to casts up to 30 m, this rod has proven to be Des Shipp's favourite model for all his commercial carp fishing. Delivered with three carbon tips of 1, 1.5 and 2 oz.
11ft Supera X Feeder The versatile rod par excellence, perfect for use on commercial and natural sites. A progressive action makes casting all types of feeders very easy, making this rod the ideal choice for the angler visiting a range of sites. Delivered with three carbon tips of 1, 1.5 and 2 oz.
12ft Supera X Feeder Designed for casting beyond 60 m, this rod has a powerful progressive action, ideal for propelling large feeders. It's proven to be Lee Kerry's favourite model for tackling a variety of long-distance fishing styles. The three-piece design provides a smooth action, which prevents dislodging when fighting a fish. Delivered with three carbon tips, 1.5, 2 and 2.5 oz.
