The dusky grouper (Epinephelus marginatus) is a large marine fish found in the shallow waters of the Bay of Biscay, the Mediterranean and North Africa. It's a solitary fish and an ambush hunter, preferring a habitat full of nooks and crannies to hide in while waiting for its prey. It mainly feeds on crustaceans, molluscs and fish. The species is highly appreciated for its taste and is a very popular fish among angling enthusiasts.
