The BISHI bait box from K-ONE is a solution to many issues encountered when fishing in deep waters or under strong current conditions. It allows the use of any type of lure-bait, from soft lures to a standard baited rig.

The BISHI bait box consists of a cage and a spring-mounted flap that closes on the cage to prevent bait or groundbait contained by the latter from escaping. You can thus arrange pieces of sardines, gambas (or other baits) or groundbait inside the bait box. The meshes of the cage are large enough to let particles from bait pieces diffuse in sufficient quantities to generate a swift and precise baiting process. The BISHI bait box has been designed with an offset shaft that keeps the lead line away from the main line to avoid tangling when lowering the line. The lead line should be between 50cm and 1 meter in length(there's no need to make it longer).

Finally, we have arranged a snap hook under the bait box so as to
be able to add a weight to optimize the presentation of the lure
or the bait in deep waters or in strong currents
.
The BISHI bait box allows, for instance, to present a lightweight tenya (18gr) at any depth and to bait accurately in front of the lure-bait. You can also set up a standard rig with bait behind the BISHI bait box and adjust the diameter of the main line and the lead line according to the targeted fish.

Whether drifting or anchored, the BISHI bait box enables very accurate baiting. The frequency to reload the bait cage is approximately every 15 minutes(depending on the bait used: sardine chunks dissolve faster than gambas chunks). The size of the bait chunks generally impacts the diffusion time: smaller pieces dissolve more quickly.
