BaK4 Prism Thanks to its incredible refractive index, the BaK4 glass prism, found in all PENTAX binoculars, is highly appreciated for its circular exit pupil and lack of vignetting.
Aspheric Elements The sharpness over the entire surface of the lens thanks to the aspheric elements used is a crucial element for greater viewing comfort. Thanks to its special shape, the dispersion index is reduced to the maximum.
Construction with internal focus This design is ideal for waterproof models that require a completely airtight construction. This also contributes to a maximum reduction in size and weight and improves the center of gravity and reliability.
Waterproofing PENTAX waterproof products are fully sealed and purged with liquid nitrogen in the laboratory, for fog-free viewing in the toughest conditions. With JIS Class 6 standard, PENTAX waterproof binoculars can even be submerged up to 1 meter underwater.
Long eye relief The comfortable eye relief that nearly all PENTAX binoculars benefit almost from allows the user to retain the entire field of vision clearly and comfortably. This is particularly profitable for glasses wearers and allows for long periods of observation without eye strain.
