The 10x42 Terra ED Zeiss binoculars combine SCHOTT ED glasses with a compact and waterproof housing to create a versatile optic offering image quality and a streamlined silhouette worthy of the Carl Zeiss name.

The Terra ED is the third line of binoculars to come and enrich the catalog of the optical manufacturer from Wetzlar. They complete a range which already includes the popular Conquest and the legendary Victory. The engineers from Carl Zeiss Sport Optics designed Terra ED for ornithologists and hunters looking for affordable equipment, while maintaining the qualities of Zeiss optics.

SCHOTT ED lenses are designed to maximize light transmission and render a high-contrast image. Thanks to the use of Schmidt-Pechan roof prisms and a lightweight composite chassis, these binoculars weigh 725g. The Terra EDs are nitrogen-filled to prevent fog formation and are waterproof to a depth of approximately 3 meters.

This model offers an incredible observation experience thanks to its x10 magnification and comfortable eye relief of 15mm. The short focus distance (from 1.6 m) allows to get very close to the bird or the observed subject. These binoculars also offer excellent ergonomics thanks to its central focus wheel and its twist-up eyecups, arguably making the Terra ED the best mid-range binocular on the market.
