Their XD (extra-low dispersion) glass helps correct optical color defects, caused when different wavelengths of light do not converge at the same point after passing through the optical glass. Designed with Bak-4 roof prisms, Sightmark Solitude 10x42 XD binoculars provide an advanced straight tube lighting system, allowing maximum light transmission and optimal brightness. The prisms and lenses of the unit are wide-band multi-coated, enhancing efficiency across the entire visible spectrum.
